A flat battery follows forgotten lights, a rarely used vehicle, or a cold snap. Before you keep trying the starter, make the vehicle safe and gather the details for the recovery operator.
In town ( Annemasse , Gaillard , Saint-Julien…), SkyRoute Auto can attend for battery recovery depending on the diagnosis. If the battery has failed or access is awkward, a tow to a garage may be safer.
On the motorway: SOS phone or 112 first. We then attend for the next stage if needed.

Flat battery: what is actually stopping you
A click on start, weak lights or a dead dashboard often point to the 12 V battery — including on hybrids and EVs, where the traction pack does not prevent a failed auxiliary battery. In Annemasse , Gaillard , Saint-Julien or Geneva , lights left on, a little-used vehicle or a cold snap are enough. Hammering the starter wears the solenoid and does not help.
SkyRoute Auto diagnoses the situation: jump-start if the battery is only discharged and access is safe; garage direction or towing if it is failed, sulphated, or stuck on level -2. “Neighbour-to-neighbour” cables on a car-park ramp are a bad idea (sparks, ESP, Start & Stop). Have make, model, gearbox, floor and whether anyone has already tried a jump ready.
On the hard shoulder, do not stay with the bonnet open: SOS / 112. We then handle the follow-on. In a residence, a badge and deck height change the equipment. SkyRoute Auto is an independent breakdown, towing and transport provider, based at 74 bis Route d’Étrembières, 74100 Annemasse , France. For flat battery , the call comes through on a local number (06 82 96 40 84): not a national switchboard promising “20 minutes anywhere in France”. The slot we give depends on traffic, weather, access (surface, underground, snow) and the distance from Annemasse .
We remain outside insurers’ official networks. You can appoint us for flat battery , obtain an invoice, then submit the file to your roadside assistance: any reimbursement depends solely on your policy. Keep the case number if one already exists.

To handle flat battery without a second trip: exact address (street, car park, floor, badge / intercom), make and model, manual or automatic gearbox, whether the vehicle still rolls, the destination you want, photos of the access and of the vehicle. Mention a high-voltage pack (hybrid / electric), a motorcycle, a van or a prestige car: the equipment is not the same.
